The 2026 Season at a Glance

The 2026 Formula 1 World Championship runs 23 rounds, opening with the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne on March 8 and closing with the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix at Yas Marina Circuit on December 6. It's the first season of the sport's new technical regulations — smaller, lighter cars with active aerodynamics — and the calendar brings a brand-new race in Madrid alongside the classics. One late change to know about: the Bahrain Grand Prix, cancelled from its April date, was reinstated for October 2–4 at Sepang in Malaysia — F1's first race there since 2017.

6 weekends run the sprint format with points on offer across all three days: Chinese Grand Prix, Miami Grand Prix, Canadian Grand Prix, British Grand Prix, Dutch Grand Prix, and Singapore Grand Prix. Two races don't run on a Sunday at all — Baku and Las Vegas both race on Saturday — so double-check the dates below. If you're new to how a Grand Prix weekend is structured, our race weekend format guide walks through every session.

Every race below links to a full session schedule converted to Eastern, Central, Mountain, and Pacific time, with a live countdown and a free .ics calendar download. For the 2026 US streaming landscape, see how to watch F1 in the US.
